I recently tried my hand at writing an op-ed piece and submitted it to several newspapers. Only the local paper picked it up. The Springville Herald put it on pg. 2, and it's parent company The Daily Herald put it on their website. Here's the link:

I agree, you are a fab. writer. You seriously need to consider writing more and especially for money. What could be better - giving your opinion for money? I sure wish I was as smart and clever as you.
